Busse Combat Basic 6 LE . . . . . . Coming Soon!!!!. . . . . YOWZA!!!!!!!

How much does it weigh?

What's the length of the Res-C handle part, from end of the pommel to where the Res-C ends right at the start of the ricasso?

Man, I just do not make enough to have enough disposable income for every awesome thing that comes out of the shop.

I would really love a full line up of the basics! The B11 has made a believer out of me on the Res C!!!!

The weight to power ratio is unmatched in my opinion!

I am not sure I will be able to get one of these. I would have to sell my Squatch CG (as that is the size range it would be replacing).

I'd say 5"
OAL: 11.5"
Blade: 6.5"

Well that depends if they count all the bare INFI as the 6.5" blade, which would mean the cutting edge is much shorter. Judging from the proportions in the pic, it doesn't really look like the ricasso is counted towards the 6.5" blade length. Of course it depends on how much lens distortion in that pic.

anyone care to enlighten a newer person to busse knives the major advantages/disadvantages of res-c handles vs full tang slabbed handles.

thanks

Awesome news:thumbup:, I am definitely going to use this one in the kitchen for repetitive cutting. +1

I dig it, but as others, I just can't swing every one I want & well it reminds me of my SAR6 with a Res C handle (not that that's a bad thing). Think I'll hold out for the 4.

Lighter weight, more forward weight (good for chopping, but does not make a center balanced knife), better insulation for cold weather, more grippy. Some say it has less vibrations when chopping, others say it has a more narrow sweet spot, otherwise causing more vibration. (like a tuning fork).

Res-C is certainly not as durable as full tang with micarta or G10 scales, though.

would like a chopper for clearing shooting lanes and such while hunting, and its terribly snowy here in western ny........

Jerry, is the entire blade from tip to the start of the res-c handle 6.5" or is the cutting edge 6.5"?
Thanks........get back to drinking!
