The basic 11 is 11.25 from the handle material to tip, and the BOSS jack is 6.25" from the tip, so I'm assuming this is measured the same, 6.5" from the handle material, making the edge itself closer to 6" in length.

Sounds very reasonable.....it looks like there is more than 1/2" though from the handle edge to the actual cutting edge. Ricasso and choil look large from my eyes.....but I've been drinking. :)

I was just thinking of ordering another BJCG.. looks like I might just get this one instead!
 
The Basic Series is a great idea. It has a great grip and at an affordable price, cause not everyone can afford a Lamborghini or Ferrari. I think this is a Brilliant idea and with great timing too!
