Black micarta *can* get that dark, but usually only when higher grit abrasives (sandpaper, etc) are used, or something wet, like oil, is applied.
These vvv have black canvas micarta that I hand sanded 🙂

I missed this one, it looks good. It sort of looks like the Urgent Fury all bulked up on muscle and a tanto style .
 
Were these Fusion Force 9’s only available for a week or two? Thought they would be on company site longer as a standard model ? Is this model discontinued now ?
 
Can't wait to get mine! No ding yet, but really looking forward to it. I think this is a great looking model. Not sure about the business reasons but I would love to see this as a "regular" model for a while. I would like to have gotten a couple different iterations of this, but could only afford one at time.

I ordered a Comp finish with tan canvas. Would also like to have been able to get a nuked version to check out the spine bevel.

I also have really taken to the black coated with black G10 look. I have been able to score a few different older models with this combination and well they are just plain wicked looking. Certainly not the primary purpose, but yikes they are cool!!!
