  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Busse Combat Is Proud To Introduce The Radioactive Mean Street (RAM Street) Coming Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 9:00 pm Eastern!!!

Guys which do you think would hold out most for marine/ saltwater boat and fishing use?
I’m thinking coated, but I also like the stonewash…

I have a coated park ranger Ive been using for 3 seasons now
(holding up well).

Coated first, satin second.

I prefer the stone wash look but the unprotected roughness is the most corrosion susceptible.

I mean seriously! I just found my 14stf mil overrun in my garden and it had a couple of small non-feelable rust spots on it after my wife has been using it in the garden and leaving it in the dirt for months on end…. For at least 3years.

Seriously need to up the game!

(Hopefully /sarc isn’t needed)

Anyone scores a Green and Orange liner G10 or 3 color camo G10 hit me up please

I was having trouble pulling the trigger on this one, but finally did. This knife is just too damn similar to the RadioActive Duty I already own. Just a different pommel… I went with stonewash and maroon anyway!

Yes, I figured…
But, since I still have a bunch of coated/ non-coated Busse and kin in the size range…
I opted for the stonewashed with Orange/Blk.:)
(It just looks sweet)

Pics or it didn't happen... :)

Infi does rust in my experience, even satin INFI like the Mean Street Ergo I've been carrying. This is especially true with my nuclear salt sweat when it drips down into the sheath when I'm carrying in the Florida humidity over summer. It does seem to be mostly superficial and the underlying steel could easily be renewed without deep pitting.
