When I saw meat cleaver, I thought this was a response to Cobalt's post! LOL If you are worried about the coating, strip her, she'll be beautiful! My SR-101 that's been stripped performs great and has not rusted, just takes on a great patina. As a matter of fact, I ordered one to strip and hang in my restaurant kitchen... a great chicken and meat chopper! I ordered canvas micarta handles for the grip in a messy kitchen.

I could have a LOT of fun with this one, but this little piglet was not prepared for the devastating breadth and duration of "Operation 2 Weeks."

I can probably afford ONE more purchase before I need to shut it down and/or start culling the herd... I kind of hope the BG WTF sells out before I have time to cave, lol.

Have a feeling that if I jump on this, the BGFBM will probably happen and I'll really be hurtin... OTOH, if I don't bite, we might not see another Fusion offering for a long time. :confused:

Maybe I should just get a second job. Preferable one where I get paid to chop stuff up with my Bussekin in order to afford more Bussekin! :thumbup:
 
Yesterday I was thinking no way. Today I'm thinking I gotta have the BG version. If the Bossman says it feels good in the hand then it has to be good. Plus it looks like you could gut an Escalade with the thing. I can only imagine the awesome sheath David Brown comes up with for this monster. I'm sold. Tanker grey with green canvas it is.
 
This is killing me! At age 69 I am already thinking about starting a sell-off before my heirs have to contend with a pile of steel they know next to nothing about. Now this monster comes out!

I don't need it, I have no practical use for it, but dang it, I sure do want it.
 
Although the amount of steel of the custom sure reflects the price, I just can't see buying it at that price. It is certainly fair. But at that price it would be a wallhanger.
 
I think the Wtf has got to be one of the most versatile blades ever. You can use it for everything, body armor, shovel, paddle, chainsaw, axe, frying pan and of course a knife. A 3 inch wide blade would be great for gripping if you had a need to. Like if you had to scrape the flesh off the backside of a hide.

Ill bet that after you use it for a while, all of your other blades will feel too light.

My order was in before the email even showed up, green n grey for me baby!

I think the folks that dont like the WTF are afraid because they have limp wrists. :p

You to, and have a great day, not criticizing people who do not want it, but people who want satin, or a big chopper, then criticize it because it's too expensive to thick etc. This is an expensive knife, that is why Busse makes the SR-101 models-Cheers Pete
