Since I made my decision about which knife would be mine. Like many, I was content to wait and though Wednesday is always fun, the decision was made, the money earmarked
Then, Mr. BUSSE burned down my outhouse !!!!!! (For those who do not understand authentic frontier gibberish, this means, "...he disrupted all possibilities for natural
bodily processes by the implementation and/or conspiracy to commit an act with the intent to harm or injure through humorous and/or hilarious jest, prank or surprise.")
I can only wonder how big his smile was as he prepared to introduce the WAR TRAIN?

As for me, the only words that work....THANK YOU Mr. BUSSE !!! It was a lovely surprise! I only wish I could have gone for the INFI WAR TRAIN. But nevertheless, I am a happy old dog.

I may get two, a user and a wallhanger, but probably not three. Probably two of the sr101 blades. that is my plan anyway.

I have some waxed harness leather for a sheath.

I called Ms. Lexi today and she said all she knew was it would be at least 16 weeks out. I'm wondering if it could be longer on the infi version since its considered a custom shop piece??? Any of you full time heavy hitters have any insight? I've got a BG ordered already but I'm wanting both, what can I say I'm addicted!!!

It's just the lighter color of the satin INFI vs the black crinkle coat on the BG. Take a straight edge and lay it along the edge of the knife in all of the pics, and take that line back to the butt end of the handle. You'll see that the edge sits at what looks to be about 1/8" to 1/4" below the handle in all of the pics. :thumbup:

I'm thinking this WTF bad boy is going to be quite the Porker!
My NMFBM is 0.27", but weighs in at ~33.5oz with G10. Take that, add 50% more blade height, and 0.07" thickness (for the INFI version), and I'm betting that these two models will weigh somewhere around 2.5 - 3 pounds!!!

Well, with 16 weeks, for only four car payments of $360 I can ride the Satin War Train... especially if my place in line is in the caboose.
It looks like the holes in the tang are either smaller than normal or there is a more junk in the trunk than normal to help balance this tank out.

You're not alone. I stared at that picture until my CC screamed in agony...
