Busse Combat Is Set To Party Harder Than Ever At BLADE Show 2018!!!

I paid for my 3-day and early bird passes on Monday and started making my Busse Booth wish list. Dang!

I understand the reasoning, Jerry, and I can’t imagine how you all keep the INFI flowing with such a high demand, but I am also disappointed. Dan and a few guys I can’t remember (sorry!) were simply awesome to chat with at the booth last year. Made the whole trip worthwhile!

In any case, what are the details about the party? My wife and I will be arriving in Atlanta on Thursday night. I was going to have her wear something low cut to get some extra deals at the Busse Booth, too, lol.

ETA: I told my wife I typed that and she rolled her eyes at me and then reminded me she’ll be 7-mo pregnant by then, lol.
 
Hey Bossman, How about that online induction we were talking about late last year?

At this point in life, and due to a lot of factors, I'm probably never going to make it to Atlanta. I know there are quite a few other forumites in the same boat.

Can ya toss us a scrap or two?

I've been out of pocket for a while, and come back just in time to see this.
I'm all about adopting change, and I hope that this will be a welcome break for the Guys and Gals in the Shop, they certainly deserve it!
I'll definitely still be in Atlanta, and I hope for a chance to score some cool blades in the Blade Ganzaa!
 
Tthis is definitely a bummer, but as long as it's not the beginnng of Busse demise I'm good with it (and judging by how many hogs can' get enough INFI, I don't believe in Busse demise) maybe it's just a little tweak in business model. Either way, fingers crossed that O2wPart 2 and 3 and so on will go on. They'll always get my money's lol

Hmmm, interesting news. Will be watching this one. Thought about heading out there this year. We'll see how this pans out. Might have to do Atlanta, but I would like to get inducted as well. My Busse collection has grown over the top in the last few years. I am sure I qualify at this point. Got enough Busse knives that I could resell them all and buy a very nice NEW SUV at this point lol. From my understanding the only way you can get inducted is at the blade show dinner, correct me if I am wrong.

I think it is a great idea, as it gives us more time to drink.
 
Now that the shock of the news wore off, getting some sleep and seeing the ganza info, I have to say that this sounds pretty cool. The dinners and games were as much, if not more fun than the booth events... and probably much safer! That poor tree though...

It was a bit of a WTF!!! moment after reading your post Jerry :eek::( but we soon realised that the main reason for travelling all that way is the people. It will be awesome and we'll all have a blast. We're looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the guys and having a good catch up after all this time.

Happy to hear you guys are going to make it this year.
Something I have thought of is with the booth not there some of the Hogs may set up tables full of blades.

Really hoping there may be some Mammoth ivory or tooth in the ganza. EDC size. All these years and I have yet to have any knife in either one of those.

Well, you must be doing something right – you have a successful business and you married Jennifer – it sounds like a couple of big wins to me! :D

I agree with your decision. When you are stuck in a deep hole (too much of a backlog), do you dig deeper (create more of a backlog)? Of course not.

It is very generous of you to make the arrangements you are – bringing your staff to Atlanta and inviting the hogs! I wish I could be there, but my personal situation does not allow it to happen. I will drink a Coors Light at home to celebrate the occasion.

While you're working on the backlog and plans for new models, please don't forget about the BG MOAB. :)
