Busse COMBAT Knives

Love my 1111, but out of stuff on hand I'd probably take my chances with the 1311 for more reach. DTBM might also sneak into second over the 1111 due to being more of a "fighter."

I've been close to ordering a Rucki several times, and have looked at BG AKs and Wakis on the Exchange, haven't bought or handled any yet. Not sure what I'd prefer, but EBP is making the Rucki sound pretty good.

I have a full size katana but it wouldn't be my 1st choice. It's a beast, but with a 28" blade it's heavy and a dedicated 2-hander for me.
 
I thought about a Rucki for the missus.... Make a good ladyblade. For me, from what I have on hand, it would be the Kodiak survival sword or Dervish Gorgon... but probably the Kodiak.

Also, good for making holes in even the freshest zombie skulls.
 
Butaniku Short for sure for me. I love the way it feels and it has extra reach on the AK 47 without it being any more cumbersome to wield.

 
Of what I have or have coming…. tough call. Probably either the HUCK or my TG-P. Considering the work I've done with my BGTG, and the fact the TG-P is just more/better, probably the TG-P. HUCK close second, BG MOFO third choice. But if it happened today, considering i don't have the HUCK, or sheath for the TG-P, it would be the BG MOFO.
 
I'd have to go with my AK...for most of the reasons mentioned above plus one important fact:
It rests by my bedside and is almost always within reach!

I feel like I could take Michonne on with this thing.
 
I think for this particular thread my Argonne Attack would be my choice. It's very well balanced and fast for its size.

Rucki, or ASHBM. Rucki for reach, ASHBM for short range destructive, lopping power.
 
Well based on what I have, it would be the BG AK47 for zombie poking, if I could cheat a little I'd like the BK-21 in the left hand to scare potential opponents away with just one look of it. The Mofo is my second choice definitely.



 
Right now I'd go with my AK but when the Huck shows up, I'm betting it will be my main choice. The AK doesn't have the reach I'd want to get the full benefit of carrying a sword, and I believe that the cleaving power of the kukri would be more useful to me as I'm not going to pretend like I could make an accurate thrust in a tense situation.

Dan I love and admire your fearlessness when it comes to grinding / cutting / stripping / drilling your knives, not many pass through you untouched.
 
From what I have- HG55. Light and pointy enough to pierce through heavy clothing, fast at hand enough to slash, and more than long enough to hit the liver from the rear, and sturdy enough to sever the spine or pierce a skull. Battlesaw is a close second- light and handy enough to swing, and enough meat behind it to force through most anything with a thrust.

Fantasy world- Long Gladius. If it can decapitate a Deer, should be good enough to reconfigure the anatomy of an assailant.
