Alright guys, pretty sure I got this current... :D

Not sure how detailed this should be - do you guys think that every individual Ganzaaa knife should also be listed???

Just dont want to make this TOO crowded and intimidating for the new guys to pour through.

Thoughts?

.

Every Ganzaa knife? Perhaps not ... I also think that would be too much.

Let it grow slowly over time. It's mighty impressive right now.

I agree, there's so many ganza special knives, one off custom shops, etc. that it would be VERy hard to track them all.

If you did an all ganza/custom/one off it should be in a seperate post from the main list, listed per ganza. If you didn't I don't think anyone would blame you, since it would be more for the guys who like to delve really deep into exactly where certain particular models originated from.

Thanks guys :)

And thanks to those who have helped by posting prices :thumbup::thumbup:

Great work so far!!

Here is one that I feel is important to add.

Lean Mean Street: $227 only 117 made.

Now does any body know what the original price was for the ABALE and the BBSHSH?

.

Ok I have a question, did someone verify any of the prices. For instance, I see this:
FFBM - Fat Fusion Battle Mistress (2007): $367
Does anyone have a thread where the price is posted? Maybe a link to the way back machine? Screen shot of the offering on the Busse page? That price seems a bit low to me. So a year ago this knife cost more?
FBM - Fusion Battle Mistress (2006): $387
I also see in a Ganza two FFBM in 2007 go for $452 and $412...

I dont think anyone would have made up prices. That would be wrong!!!!

FFBM was taken from hogcult.com: http://www.hogcult.com/knives/busse-combat-fat-fbm/

bussecollector.com also lists the same price for FFBM and the other prices you questioned (scroll down to Battle Mistress): http://www.bussecollector.com/catalog/

Should we assume that hogcult and bussecollector are wrong?

Well, I know both those sites are not all that accurate sometimes and missing lots of information. I looked in the Way Back Machine but I'm guessing it was not avil from Busse and was avil through the company store. But since this is a forum, I'm guessing people on here have purchased the knife and can confirm or deny the price.
Here is a thread:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/477950
Ken44 states the cost at Store cost $432 + $20 ship
And I know Ken, he is a great guy and wouldn't lie. So I have reason to challenge the listed price on this list, and both other site.
Did anyone here every buy a FFBM for $367?

quite trolling.

On BusseCollector I've stopped breaking down the prices for add-ons and instead started listing the base cost only. There are too many options on recent models to fit nicely in the current catalog's layout. I've been working on a DB backend to hold more info but it is not done.

On my FFBM order I only have a receipt listing the total cost paid for that order, not per knife.

However, here is the original $367 for the FFBM from BCS:

Thank you Mike, I was was looking for that link. I'm just hoping cause there are lots of HOGs here if they know what the breakdown was because I know some people do write down how much it cost. I didn't even know until I looked it up today that the coated Saber Ground FFBM was not a production knife from Busse Combat and was offered only in a few color combination in the Company Store.

Well, after some searching, it seems the FFBM went into the Company Store in December of 2007
There seems to be a thread about it here:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/518848
and on the bottom of page 6, Elen got one for $432

Knowing the original price serves as one more bit of information to folks who are unfamiliar with it to help them to make an informed decision about whether to buy or not from a dealer or on the secondary market. However, that original price probably does not mean very much to someone who bought a knife only to sell it on the secondary market. What matters most to that person is what they paid for it and what they are asking for it. They may consider the original price from Busse in determining a price at which to sell, but it is probably NOT the primary concern.

The questions that should be the most important are, "What does the market support?" and "What did I pay for it regardless of the original price?" I think that you would agree with me when I say that if the market supports a price of $450, then you can reasonably expect to sell the knife for $450. Just tell the customer to look around at what other FFBMs have sold for and then let them decide for themselves whether they want to pay your asking price.
