Busse Custom FOLDER (as promised)

That is very cool! Looks like a lot of time and effort went into that. I think the blade is really cool, my only hesitation about it would be how easy/difficult it is to sharpen. I do think that is more than a fair price for all the work required to turn a good sized fixed blade into a folder of that quality. Thanks so much for sharing!

hmmm, I guess I'm the odd man out - I'm not really that crazy about it. I mean, having an INFI folder at all is cool enough in and of itself, but the design isn't really my cup o' tea.

what're the supposed benefits from a grind like that?

I tend to agree, but everyone's taste is different. Excellent workmanship though.

I still think that it might no be that big a deal to make a folder using a .140" GW or BAD blade. Something more practical for an EDC.

yep,i usually let my silence speak for itself if i dont like something.

some people are just dead out RUDE.

the blade is dramatic but its what you payed a grand for so screw what other people want your knife to look like.its not like these are going up for sale in the company store or are the next release.

i like it and appreciate any INFI with folding capabilities and i really like the spine shot.

Amazing! Fantastic folder! The price tag is definitely high, but so is that on a FERRARI! Thanks for the beautiful pictures:thumbup:!

Beautiful design, and yes, it looks like something Busse would do. I figure you could choose your blade design since it is a custom piece. I can picture this with a good ole drop point blade, .25 thick, and camo blade... I bet it's a pretty penny! just the hours of grinding at "$100 per hour?" But yes, it is worthy of the Busse name.. Very nice job Mr. RonyBear..

Not my cup o' tea either, but congratulations on getting your dream knife realized.

I don't know why I would have expected anything less 'tactical' for a Busse but I don't grab me. The blade gives me chills however! Put it in in between black G-10, INFI inlaid reinforced slabs and make it with one of those buttons what makes it jump out real fast and I'd mail 'em a check!

Reese asked me if I wanted automatic. He could have easily made it an auto. He said this one could be made automatic still if I wanted it.

I'm curious what a true Busse\Reece folder of this magnitude would run? Price em right and they will come!!

I'd love to see drop point InFi models in the 3 1/2 to 4 in blade size....AWESOME!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Ron...I hate you!!!;):D That is one badazz folder! Let me know when you let it go!:thumbup::D

Here is a photo of the sketches we were playing with to design the folder. I really like the bottom grind blade as well, but went with the middle design.
