Here's mine (BIG DC with black canvas) with a 2 Gen Badger Attack Ergo, a Game Warden, and a Benchmade Nakamura (my EDC) for comparison.

The black canvas looks a lot blacker than I'm used to. Not quite like black G10, but not too far off. Similar to black paper micarta.

The ergo handle on the badger is a little cramped for my hands, but that's definitely not a problem with the Mentor.
