Oh wow, Jerry... Going above and beyond. Those are absolutely sweet. I'm a newbie here and started out in the HI forum, and I just wanted to say that I'm really glad to have found a community of such selfless and charitable people as I have found on bladeforums. Friggin' awesome stuff.

"Uncle" Bill Martino was the founder of H.I. and Rusty was his best friend and right hand man on the forums. The forums were dealt a hard blow with the loss of these two beloved gentlemen...the families even more so.

The H.I. forums is much like the Busse forum...we are a close group of varied individuals that enjoy quality hand made tools and have fun doing it....please drop in and say hello!

Almost forgot!! A Big thanks to hdwrlover for helping out with this honorable endevour.

It seems that your standards for gentlemanly behavior are as high as your standards for your knives. This is a very generous gesture, and one I do not think will be soon forgotton.

it's nice to see one manufacture support another in the time of need.

i had better not put in a bid for the knives as i would use them and get black balled out of here :p

Absolutely! If the new owners would like a certificate, I will be more than happy to supply them with one. :D

A big thanks to the HI guys for stoppin' over. We love your blades and greatly admire your comradery and friendship.

Our thoughts and prayers go out for Bill and Rusty' families and our hearts go out to all of your forum members who lost two really great friends.

I can think of at least 4 Uber Hogs that will have these 2, and 2 of them are being very quiet.

Trust me on this, don't get between these Boars and the trough. LOL
