Busse - For Sale Forum..

I see that there is now a "Buck Knives for Sale Forum" down in the B/S/T's..

I say that we need the same thing, a forum where only Busse Knives are for sale. It would make it easier to find the Busse blade that you are looking for without having to weed through all of the other for sale threads..

What say you? :)
 
I back the idea. It would make it a lot easier to sell my Spydercos and other knives. They get booted off the front page sometuimes in a matter of minutes by the Busse selling frenzy these days.

I never go in there. That's why I hadn't seen it earlier.

I've been following the thread in W&C. I'm kind of torn on it. On one hand it would be nice to not have to sort through everything when I'm looking for bacon. On the other hand, sometimes I like looking through everything :o
 
Yeah, but when you are busy looking "through everything", the $400 SFNO's and $230 BA-3's seem to slip right through your hands....... :(
 
I really don't have a preference at this point. I think that it would hurt the regular for sale forum, many Busse buyers buy other knives as well. I know that I would probably stop going to the production for sale forum if there was a separate Busse Sub-forum. Seems like the people being hurt by this are the one's that are trying to sell in that forum as they have just decreased the numbers of people that will be viewing that section.

I know that I go there looking for Busses but often check out other sales that I see that I hadn't intended on checking out. Sometimes I buy, sometimes I don't, I do know that I would probably stop looking at non-Busse knives if there was a separate sub-forum though.
 
I can think of at least four other knife manufacturers that I look for as well. But if I have to keep going to different places just to find them, then I too would probably just stop.

The other thing that nobody has really commented on is this: If Busse had it's own subforum, would SRKW be a part of that or would it stay where it is? Separating them would make it a real pain since buyers and sellers really like both. But not separating them might just lead to confusion. After all, it would be a "Busse" subforum.
 
My preference would be to keep it as it is, with all brands together.

While I probably will never visit the Buck for sale sub-forum, I do like to see what else is selling, and I do pick up other brand blades from time to time.

i think all busse's for sale should be listed at the liquor store...

I dunno about that. The best INFI shopping is drunken INFI shopping. I don't want to have to tie one on and drive around for an INFI fix :eek::(:eek:
 
The only thing I could envision would be to split the "Production" forum into "High End" and "Low End". But then we would just argue about which brands deserved to be in each category....

If it ain't broke, etc.

I agree it ain't broke.

I like to see more stuff than just Busse and i don't want to have to look all over hell and back to see everything.
 
The main for sale section gets the most exposure, period. That is where I will sell all my knives, even if they do make a sub-forum. I don't want to have to visit different forums to see certain brands or types of knives.
 
Now that this new Buck Forum is up and running, I find myself skipping right over it. I guess that I may have to rethink this whole seperate forum issue..
