Busse - For Sale Forum..

I wholeheartedly agree that multiple knives should be posted in only one thread, and consider that to be common courtesy.

My 3rd and 4th cent:

I'm not sure I buy that. What if the sellers had titles like " FS Spyderco Mini Manix" or "FS Busse Game Warden". All one would need to do is scan down the page to find what they wanted to look at. The way it is now I have to open the thread and then figure out what is available and often look through all the posts to be sure. That is what takes time and why buyers get board with the whole thing. Then once past page one half the stuff you look at is sold.

I'm mostly a buyer and I find that the multiple knife posts are what takes up time.

If the buyers could quickly look at pages then the sells wouldn't need to try and keep things near the top.

Another huge help would be if the sellers could edit the title to read sold when the knife is gone.

I see your point, but titles of threads is the problem there.
I see people posting "WTS some knives" or the like, and it doesnt tell you anything about the thread you didn't already know. If they are posting in the Knives for sale section, it is pretty obvious what they are doing there.

Having a decent title like "Spyderco, Benchmade, Busse" or "Mini Manix, Smog Warden" takes care of that problem. The people with crappy titles slow me down more than anything else. Opening and reading a single multi-knife thread is far easier and quicker than reading a half dozen threads containing one knife apiece.

And for something like a for-sale post with 10 knives in it what more useful title can you have than “10 various knives for sale.”

My point is that, in a way, the multi knife sales post causes the problem.
