How many people found Busse knives and stopped looking? I mean stopped looking at other manufacturers and just deal now exclusively with Busse. I am beginning to think I have reached such a point, I dont have cash to throw around on knives and Busse' sales technique of releasing one at a time (whilst at the start p'd me off) now suits me better than looking through different sites ooooogling different blades to buy. I'm not saying I am there just yet, but I am getting close.

There are a couple customs I want someday when I have the funds and I like Cold Steel for cheap/no regrets. I will always have to replace a lost or worn out SAK Farmer or Leatherman as well. Other than that Busse is my go to/user/do all outdoor cutlery source.

Busse ended my FB search. I do have a PML knife on the the way because I designed it and Paul did an outstanding job.
For a fixed Blade... it's Busse!!

Way to many great Custom fixed blades out there to stick with Busse only.
I do have more fixed blades from Busse than any other maker.

Well, they are close to it.

It's really between them an Himalayan Imports for most of my blades -- which is cool because, right now, their blade styles don't overlap at all. Of course that may change when the Zilla comes out.

I carry folders as my regular edc so they will still be looked at. Busse also doesnt make other styles of knives such as small thin knives so Ill probably still get those:)

The only other company for for fixed blades I have any interest in is RAT. Haven't bought one yet but may in the future but I do buy other customs mostly users in EDC size.I have a few of Koster,Krein, and Goode plus a few other makers and will probably pick up a Fiddle Back if I make it to Blade this year. EDCs

They have the Culltes, the Muskrat and the HACK Bear Cub

I changed from folders to fixed blades when I found Busse. And I pretty much quit looking else where.

My one and only production fixed-blade knife company. I still love my Graham Bros', Dozier's and Airkats.

I am quickly finding myself a SY, SR, and Busse only person with the occasional one off, etc. I love it!

well for fixed there is only 2 brands i truly depend on, one is Busse and the other one is Fällkniven AB, i might want some customs from time to time, but on the "factory side" these 2 are the only one i really trust.

but as my addiction includes folders for EDC, i do want knifes from other manufacturers/knife makers as well.

I still look but Busse is my one and only. I still have a few (one of which is on sale and another was given to me from my gpa) before the decision was made but I am happy I made it. I carry a leatherman wave as an edc (sheeple factor) and have a permit so the amount of hardware I can carry is limited. I would buy another if needed but I don't consider it a "knife" even though it has a blade in it. Now if Busse made a multi-tool....

Fällknivens, Fehrmans and Doziers are on the same par with Busses in my opinion with Extrema Ratio lagging just behind, so I buy knives from these makers. And of course folders: Al Mar, Bradley, Spyderco, CR.

I have not purchased a fixed blade knife from anyone other than SR, SY, or Busse in years. For folders I mostly buy Kershaw (waiting on the Volt order as my one truly nice folder). I do purchase an occasional Spyderco folder and tend to purchase odd items from Cold Steel (walking stick, tomahawk, fgx tanto, triple action folder) but no fixed blade knives.

They have the Culltes, the Muskrat and the HACK Bear Cub

And the Pepper Shaker, Skeleton Key, Boney Active Duty, Anorexic Badger, and some Game Wardens. Probably others, too, that aren't coming to mind.

They do sometimes make small, thin knives.

I wouldn't say that I've decided that they're the one and only, but, in practical terms, they're closer to it than anyone else.

I'm done looking for sure.

I've broken Kabars, cold steel knives, everything you can think of. I have no need for any other brand of fixed blade.

it is for me, once I had my first in-hand (.32 ASH) it was over for all other fixed-blades.

but I don't collect, so I only have a need for a few fixed-blades, and Busse suits me...
