Busse knife waiting

Has anyone waited more than the 20 weeks for a knofe from busse I'm on week 25 it sucks and I hope it's worth it I ordered the team gemini P

Wow, what a great first post!!! :thumbup:

You know, instead of coming here to the general knofe ;) discussion, you could have done 2 other things that would have netted you MUCH better results than whining here has so far. First, you could have posted this in the Busse forum, where you'd get much better info due to it being in the, you know, manufacturer's own forum. Second, like most of the advice would have been given if you had done #1 in the first place, you could have just called the shop and asked... :rolleyes:

But hey, welcome to BladeForums anyway!!!

Not a Busse, but I paid for a custom barrel on March 4, 2016 that I'm still waiting on 21+ weeks and counting.:confused:

You asked in GKD and didn't expect any sarcasm? :eek: That is why you should have posted this in the Busse forum. But I suspect you knew that already... Been here before?
 
OP, not unusual lately. The last I received came 7 months after ordering. The string of releases that started last Nov.(?) seems to have increased wait times considerably. Hope that helps. Enjoy your new knife when it arrives. :thumbup:

I believe he is approaching 40, as if that matters.

As for your suggestion that the OP should have posted this in the Busse subforum, I couldn't think of a worse place to receive objective, reasonable responses to his question than a forum filled with Busse enthusiasts.
 
Yeah i've waited that long an a couple times longer. Right now I think they have a ton of backorders from the operation 2 week deals.

Not necessarily. People with this question on the Busse forum have generally been directed to the operation 2 weeks shipping info thread. Very well done and useful.

The Team Gemini P BG went on sale Wednesday February 10, 2016.

The CS WTF I ordered Wednesday January 27, 2016 was delivered to me yesterday..........and Yes it was well worth the wait.

Hang in there. There is no set time frame and note the military orders take precedent. Busse has been on hiatus as far as offering new OP2W since prior to Blade (June) in order to catch up on the backlog.

This is why you'll find we drink a lot.......it helps pass the time:D

They run a pretty tight ship on the Busse forum when it comes to civility. There's a sticky about it. As long as you don't come in swinging it's a pretty friendly place. That said, a man's back yard where his friends are hanging out and having fun isn't the place to walk in and talk about how his kids are fat, stupid and ugly. That doesn't go well. Just treat it like Jerry Busse's back yard and you'll be fine. Including SpyderPhreak. He's been super helpful with questions I've had in tbe past. YMMV.

I fully understand your anxiety, been there too, when ordered customs from other makers :) but don't worry, these guys are highly reputable company, surelly they will make your day happy, maybe drop them an email directly and ask them approx time of delivery
