Busse knife waiting

I ordered a few of these in 1998 and it took 10 months to get them. Wish I had ordered 50

it might be just me, but to be honest, with so many knives offered lately, I am somehow happy those orders dont come too fast, giving my credit card much needed space to breath ;)

I just checked the Survive! order I put in, early April of 2015 and still waitng....16 months, makes waiting on Busse a breeze.

In Guy's defense this was a preorder where it was specified that the wait time was unknown.

Hi everyone, my first post here.
I just ordered a ratmandu from Swamp Rat. I wonder, does the back log in Busse in any way affect the delivery time for Swamp Rat?

My last order took about 5 weeks, maybe a little less.

not only that, but you actually paid for the knife at that time

I probably unfairly judged the Busse subforum and its inhabitants--I apologize for that. When I made my comment I just imagined a room full of SpyderPhreaks.

But, aren't you one of the "inhabitants"?

I'm waiting on an Argonne Attack that I ordered on Jan. 21st as a part of O2W. But I've ordered quite a few Busses and that is just the nature of the beast. If you want the best, this is just what it takes - money and patience.

The way I look at it. The wait in between gives me time to save money for when they do charge and ship, it also gives me a chance to grab some folders that I had been neglecting because I was buying so many Busse's. Plus, I always have something to look forward to!

Rod Garcia's Skookum Bush Tool is up around 4 years I think. Then again, Busse's resale value isn't what it used to be so the waits could be a little more painful.

I agree with the others, the wait is nice, gives me a chance to Save Up, but with CS WTF its been so long that I saved up, spent in on the Exchange lol than Saved up again....
But its all good, just got an update "Out For Delivery"
Today is the Day....finally lol

I emailed Busse yesterday asking when my Argonne Attack should be shipping, they said 3-4 weeks.

Ordered my BOOM Parang on Jan 16th, should arrive tomorrow, just short of 29 weeks. Like others have stated though, I would have been happy to wait longer. It's good for them to be spaced out a bit, I only just finished breaking in my DT :D

that's no joke, they baited me in with higher discounts the more you spent. paid in full for knives without even an expected ship date. I really respect the way Busse doesn't charge until right before they ship. Nothing against Survive!, they used the discount to raise capital and were up front about it and unknown production times. I have a feeling Jerry has made enough over the years that he might own part of the Citi Bank account that I use to buy knives from him. Kinda double dipping on his part, but I'm not complaining.
