I'm sure Busse could make the most awesome machete on the planet, BUT machetes are a dime a dozen and don't need to be made of great steel.
Instead, I'd like to see a hybrid Bolo (Bolo-Golok) that has a handle long enough for the option of two handed chopping. Obviously, heavier than a machete. Using tough steel with a convex grind. I always liked the B13 blade, just turn it around so the curve is on the spine, and the blade is straight or straighter. A machete is not as all-around useful in North America as a medium weight Bolo or Golok (my opinion of course). I have a cheapie Condor Pack Golok which I like because it can chop and do some clearing. I'd love to see a well balanced Busse Bolo-Golok with the longer handle of a Golok and the width of a Bolo. Using decent tough steel with a 13 inch blade but longer handle.
