For those who posted yard sale stories, thanks. You give me hope. I sometimes daydream of finding knives, firearms, Martin guitars, etc. at insane prices. Such dreams were behind my prank.
I started to just let it go and allow the myth to grow, but I had to own up. Confession is good for the soul. :thumbup:
That whole story about being at a yard sale (at 8:30 AM) on a Saturday morning, just smelled fishy from the get go..

There are folks who go around to yard sales and knock on doors hours before the yard sale is supposed to start. Last couple of yard sales we did, I had to put saw-horses at the end of my driveway with a sign that read, "YARD SALE DOES NOT BEGIN UNTIL 8 A.M. NO EARLY BIRDS PLEASE."
I suppose they get some good deals that way, but it really does annoy if folks are rummaging through your stuff as you're trying to set up.
