I agree, I don't see where the original post has anything to do with Busse knife discussion. I don't get people killing animals for fun, sorry. The title had no warning of graphic content, there are people that it would offend.

My comment was not meant to "troll" or to start a debate about animal activism. I apologize, moonwilson, if you took it that way.

Geez Guys - give it a break

There is an invasive species introduced into another HOGS country and they are sick of it - obviously - can you blame them? Give them a break - this isn't just a forum for the PC from the USA -

Redbear15, Ill say it again. My aggravation did not come from the OP, it came from another poster who, I quote, said "Toads are fun to do mean things to". If this doesent raise a red flag about someone to you, then I dont know what does. And no offense taken:)

We are full of sarcasm here at times my friend - I think that was just another instance, and not a serious comment at all. Please do stick around (no pun intended) so you can get to know a great group of guys and enjoy a great forum

BTW - My manners are lacking, Welcome to the forum. We do drink alot, maybe too much at times, spend too much money on knives, and love our family and life, but other than that it is a great group:thumbup::D
 
Thanks Redbear:thumbup:. I know most of the people here are good, but the comment that was made about it being fun to be mean to toads bothered me. Judging from the other content in his post, I'm sure it wasn't meant to be sarcastic. It's refreshing to see someone who doesnt cry troll when different opinions are expressed. Thanks again:)

I think you can add alot to this forum, based on what I have seen in your previous posts, and would consider you far from being a troll. This group is a little less serious than other forums, but also very passionate. Show us your Hawks now - we love pics :thumbup::D

Is it not a Busse knife being used for pest eradication ?

Excuse my bad manners but i wasn`t aware of the rule about a warning of graphic content or i would have added that to my title .

There are people that would be offended by just about anything , what are we going to do about that ?

No ? I didn`t think so .

That toad was killed in a humane fashion ! When you deal with them in the numbers that i`m used to it would be easy to do cruel things like others have suggested . But i frown upon animals being hurt for fun . I think that is disgusting behaviour !

It does look humane the way you killed it. I'm glad to hear you don't condone torturing animals, because that's pure evil as far as I'm concerned. People that do that are disturbed.

Sounds good! I remember watching "Killer Instinct" with Rob Bredl, that guy could wrestle up some good looking bush tucker.:D
 
I used to have problems with toads mating in my goldfish pond, I'd pop 'em with a BB gun, then a bull frog showed up one day and now all I have to do is dip the dead toads out after he's finished with them. Varmint hunting builds skills.
 
Hell,,,,,,,,,,, first time I ever ate frog's legs was in the Boy Scouts,,,,,,,,, went whompin in the swamp on a survival thingy,,,,,, got sick of eatin nuts roots an berries..... and YES ,,, they do taste like chicken,,,,,,, Taste even better than that when yer hungry as all hell.No Biggie as far as I can see ...........Food is Food

If they're an invasive species in your region, then by all means kill them.
HUMANELY.
There's NO excuse for tormenting/torturing animals.
Eating animals and pest control are valid activities.
Torturing animals is not.
