Busse Tube Fastener Issue

The only fix for that knife is to get my name off of it immediately and then find the person who did that and pommel them about the head with a bottle of Pig's Nose. . . Luckily, Cobalt has volunteered to empty the bottle first!!! . . . .What a giver!!!!

Randucci, those tube fasteners look fine, what's the problem????

Holy Hog Response!

Thanks for the input all.

Jerry- I will send them in to get some TLC.

I agree with Porkimoto. . . . Those fasteners do look like crap and are finished horribly!!!! . . . . Please return these blades and they will be corrected. . . . This is why drinking and tube finishing don't mix!!!! . . .

I personally apologize for the poor finish on these fasteners and there really is no excuse for these having gotten out of our shop like this. . . . I will see to it personally that they are "On The Money" when they are fixed and that you are taken care of. . .

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Jerry

Jerry, you da man!! That's what I call great service!!

I don't mean to jump on the band wagon, but I've noticed a couple of rougly finished tubes too. I'm not going to worry about them, though. They're BUSSES!
PORK ON!

I want to say one thing about Jerry's warranty. It is without a doubt the best
in the business. I have had a couple of issues and both times Jerry went above
and beyond making me happy. I know he will do the same for you.:D

Wowza, suprised those guys passed QC. I hope my FBM will have nice fasteners. BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT BUSSE WARRANTE. Too bad you have to use it though.

- Best Wishes-

I had a HD with something stuck under the slab (lots of daylight underneath) and one of the fasteners did look like the above example. Jerry said send it in and it was back within the month, good as new (better, actually). Great customer service.

And to think, that was a Steel Heart when he started. That is a criminal act and I will be more than happy to play billy club with an empty bottle of pigs nose at next blade, but I fear that based on last years turnout, we could have way too many ducci's cruising around and not enough bottles to beat them with

To whoever wonders why Hogs and Piglets are so loyal to Busse knives I say this: Just cast a glance at this reply and you will find the substance to it! Once in the past I have had an issue with a Busse knife and I sent an e-mail to Jerry. I did not mention it to any forum though. He did not come with any excuse but accepted it and was very eager to rectify that. This was my second Busse knife. Since then I have bought 11 more in about 1 year's time and that doesn't count the Swamp Rats! I think that says a lot;).

NO INFI for you for 10 years Ducci!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D

In any operation, sometimes things slip through the cracks. It's the human factor, we try hard but we're not perfect. Or in plain english, S**T HAPPENS. That being said, it's how we deal with such s**ty events of life that define us. That's what I like about the blades and the people involved. Professionals all the way when / where it counts, with a nip of this 'n a sip of that throw in for good measure. Works for me!

Why is this back up here? Something so horrible should be deleted and never spoken of again like that one former piglet who shall not be named.

Very nicely said!

Jerry you are a true "Caballero" (gentleman) and an honest business man. I don't bother buying too many other brands anymore besides Busse Combat and affiliates.

Busse Combat... why bother with anything else!

now Jerry what about that FOLDER!!!

I don't know why this is back up here...but I don't think it should be deleted....?

I hope nobody thinks I was trying to cause trouble with my question regarding the fasteners.

My intent was merely to seek input from those here who have seen many more Busse knives that the few that I own- I wasn't sure if the fasteners in question were "within spec" or not. If you guys said they were OK, then then I would have been fine with that.

I have found both Brian and Jerry to be straight forward, upstanding guys worthy of all the praise they receive. I was not surprised that they lived up to their reputations and their treatment of my concern has earned them yet another loyal customer.
