So... considering the F16 handle grip area is right at 5.5"... and this perhaps should be a one-handed sword considering the pommel... and to make the math easy...
If you assume the grip area is 5," and then use that scale for the blade, that would make the blade length right at 21" to 22" long, if they stay with this blueprint. I think perhaps I could get behind that.

Agreed!! This one is much nicer than the modern rendition.

The talon hole flower pommel is perfect,
reminiscent of Busse design roots and unapologetically so.

But for Gods sake.. make it two handed!!

Definitely need a two hand grip and 30” blade. Forget about chopping 2”x4”’s, this is for Beowulf to carry and chop monsters in half. GO BIG! The biggest Busse ever!

I love the modern version and the classic pommel. I would ask you to consider losing the holes and adding a laser etch of your logo!!!
