Bug a salt. A pump air salt shotgun. At 3-4 feet it just annoys flies. at 18 inches it kills them. DEAD! lolGood gracious Cobalt, what kinda gun is that anyways??
So if you wanna just do to flies what they do to you, just shoot them from a distance of 4-5 feet.

Had one of them too! Classic D.H., blued. Fun to shoot. HARD kicker, especially one handed...a Man's revolver...
Stunning! Magna porting would make it an excellent shooter...but unoriginal :-/Here is a mid 70's nickel plated model 27. Mint, never fired. It was from an estate collection. Grips are newer. Factory grip was skinny style, which I dislike.

I recently came across this rairity. Marlin Model 1895 in 45-70. What makes it so rare you ask. It's the first year of production for the 1895, 1972. And it is near perfect.
Mine….. early 80s. Belonged to a high school mate of mine when he decided to stop shooting he gave it to me (maybe 5yrs ago) before that the last time I held or shot it was 1985 or so. I redid the wood and added the sights.

It shoots really well, I need to lower the front sight blade to get it where I want it with my “thumper” handloads. All being well heading bush for a week at the end of the month so will get it done and bust some swine with it at the same time.

My stainless 45-70 Guide’s Gun (18 1/2” barrel). I bought this one new in 2006, just a year before the Kenna family sold Marlin Firearms to Remington.
A Ported barrel = 11/10 ...
10/10 is waaaay good enough tho.
