Bussekin and guns!

Thanks Cobalt! I take that as a compliment for sure!
Its a '71 with the 6 & 1/2" barrel and she's tight as a bank vault too - maybe a couple boxes worth of shells thru her

Definitely the Rolls Royce of revolvers. Blows away the python. But then as far as revolvers go, nothing beats pre-lock smiths for quality, finish and trigger action.

I heard that!! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
My dad shot a lot of PPC matches in the '70's and very early '80's - i never saw anything but S&W out there (of course about all had bull barrels but, they were ran on 10's 15's & 19's mainly)
But yeah brother, the 27 is the real Cadillac
The only Smith with that nice checkering on the top strap & barrel ribs i believe - the 29 doesn't even have that.
Oh how i would love to have a Registered Magnum!

I recently came across this rairity. Marlin Model 1895 in 45-70. What makes it so rare you ask. It's the first year of production for the 1895, 1972. And it is near perfect.

It is and the lack of a button safety means there is now only one safety on the gun, which most old hammer fired rifles and revolvers had, precluding the need for a stupid button, that was more likely to by activated during carry without users knowledge.

I didn't even know that but, that makes perfect sense.
Thats just an incredible find man ๐Ÿ˜Ž
We had an early '80's Marlin 30-30 and the action on it was superb - I can only imagine what that one feels like
Very lucky man you are!

It does, but you have to get close if you wanna kill them. Like 18 inches away. Which is easy to do. Since they think you cant reach them so they dont leave.

I find it hilarious how we all seem to have similar tastes in guns.

I will have to model some guns with knives but for now, I will post this gun I purchased about 10 years ago. It is a 1951 ish 357 magnum smith before it was called the model 27. It was in almost unused condition when I got it. Original owner fired it like 12 times.

Wow! Reeks of ol' Elmer Keith ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

....... nice bunch of Austrian plastic. You see less Gen1s moving about out in the wild now it seems. I was very fond of mine... (so Gen1 it predated the serial number being applied to the frame for the US market) and before it was replaced with a new Gen3 I literally lost track of how many rounds went through it.....!!!
Very much enjoyed my well "tricked out" gen 2 G17, serial # CTZ 354.

Then, the evil forces of The Female and The f'd up Aussie System united, and I lost the lot, after 20 years. All 28...gone :-/

Shorts, Longs, and 12G scatter guns...๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ
