Very nice AV, that magwell is well.....just freakin awesome! I remember you stated you were in an apprenticeship, hows that coming along? Is that a polymer trigger guard? What cal?

Yup.. 45-70. It's a Mariln Guide Gun with a Wild West Guns Big Loop Lever and Leupold 2.5x28 Scout Scope. I understand that Andy from "Parks and Recreation" used something similar in the latest Jurassic Park movie.

More then likely, the cartridges aren't belted, so it's not .450 Marlin. Not sure if .444 Marlin is belted, too lazy to check on wikipedia...

Edit: I awesomely delayed hitting post. Fail for me :/

I'm pretty sure the one in the movie is a Model 1895SBL, which would make it a 45-70. The main differences are that the 1895SBL is stainless with a laminated stock, comes with the Big Loop Lever and XS sight base standard, and has a 6-round magazine as opposed to the 4 on the 1895G "Guide Gun.".

It's coming along nicely. Steady goes the battle no need to rush a good thing, just like waiting for a Busse blade 😎
Yes it is a polymer trigger guard STI and Barsto still use a polymer sub frame on their pistols. Great all around for the weekend competitive shooter or a seasoned Pro. This pistol is 9x19 should be a tack driver when completed.

Here's is my Elite Professional.
