Busses and Guns

The original S&W Centennial models were called Lemon Squeezers but the term was also used for the H&K squeeze cockers too.

Nice, new one on me. Either gun is an amazing firearm.

Every mechanism in that gun is the pinnacle of German precision for the day. I first took one completely apart and almost came apart myself. Took the better part of half an hour to deal with the grip mechanism.
Ok, now I'm really hunting one down

I love my PSP. It's like Busse in the regard that you really can't understand it until you've used one.

Great article here: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2015/01/jeremy-s/heckler-koch-p7-is-the-best-pistol-ever/

Thanks, spyder. I have only put one mag down the pipe, but I am happy with it so far. I still want to get a directional comp to replace the A2 because that 10.5" barrel is LOUD, lol.

It was hard to find a scope mount that would work. That P223 3x is so short that most 1 piece mounts won't work. Those Warne rings cost as much as the scope but they lock up like a bank vault.

Try a flaming pig, or a Troy Claymore.

Thanks Fellas, I do like me some 7.62x51's though for those barriers that need to be punched through.

I love the scar that's my dream rifle atm haven't had the chance to shoot one though. love the set up

It shoots good. I don't have one, but I've shot a friend's. It's not what I'd call svelte, and it's not something I'd want in a CQB. But in an open area, medium range, or over watch in fairly close, where you're not trying to swing it like a dead cat, I'm not sure you could do better.

But I'm not a pro, just a hacker. So YMMV. I'd definitely take it over the current crop of AK-wannabe AR's. Much better operating system.

I'm down Timmy, with about 3200 bucks in this set up I don't use it half as much as I should.

The downfall is that with national match everything and forged not cast receiver it weighs 15.7lbs

You want forged though. It'll last two lifetimes vs one and a half.

In all honesty, weight of a BATTLE RIFLE is less concerning to me than its ability to perform as needed. By cutting the OAL down on one of the top 3 BR's, you've tripled its usefulness. Certainly wish that there were a bullpup kit for the FAL.

That would be amazing

Thanks Andy and your right on the mag carrier I'm sure. There's a guy on FF that makes them it's a handy setup for sure. The scar's pretty light compared to the other battle rifles and very reliable. It's definitely lighter than my 91 setup.
