......... I have been watching the for sale forums our here mate, if I see a Tan or OD 22/17 frame appear I will snap it up and have the 34 as a complete psitol not just an add on !

I like GLOCKS
....my too, got my first in 1987 !

I've got a tan model 23 that I really like, the 4th gen frames fit my hands well. I gave my daughter my 3rd gen model 22 so I get to replace it lol. I'm a big fan of the conversion barrels too, really easy to have a multitude of calibers with just a barrel and mag change. I had to tweak the extractor a tiny bit on my 21 to function perfectly with a 10mm barrel. The 9mm/357 sig barrels required nothing other than 9mm mags to work perfect.

I don't remember the year I got my first Glock it was the first gen and soon after they first imported them to the US. I sure put a lot of rounds through it though.

I'm a Glock fanboy, for certain, and proud of it.

Bought a 357 barrel for my 23. Works like a champ, no other changes required.

Can anyone tell me if US made/assembled Glocks are just as good or better or worse than Austrian once ?

I can only speak to workmanship, as I haven't shot one yet. But the examples of G19's from the US show better workmanship than the Austrian frames, IMO.

As an aside, I think Glocks sold in America have been assembled in America for over 25 years, maybe longer. In Smyrna, GA. I don't think that was just an import facility.

I too am a glock fan boy but all of my glocks are Austrian, my brother has two US made glocks and I can tell a difference in them.

Just got my stamp back for my new companion rifle and I'm loving it. Going to be great to beat around the farm with and take out checking game cams and scouting for deer season.

^ ^ ^ Love it,,,

I am pretty taken with it myself. It's small and light which is great for what I want to use it for. I shot it from 15-100 yards at a 10" steel plate today and nailed it everytime. The 9mm is cheap to shoot. It will be getting a flashlight, magpul vertical grip as well as a suppressor that's in jail for it. I planned on a red dot too but it did so well with irons today I may save the weight.

Maybe a little Burris red dot they don't hardly weight anything. Might be low enough to cowitness with the irons.

Yes, the vortex venom is what I've been eyeing for it, same size red dot but I like the controls better and I'm a vortex fan.

Where did you find a folding stock in stock? I've got my stamp for mine, just waiting on a stock kit to actually be in stock.

I got it from a friend who accidentally ordered two, but I got it back in January and let him keep it until I got the stamp. I read today that CZ said they had a fresh shipment coming up very soon

Good deal, I'm aching to get it set up. Just waiting on my stamp for my Omega 9K, and it'll be set.
