Got a new holster system to play around with. I really like being able to move the holster with just a click on the adapter with no tools. Very solid system. G code is the brand. I've got a mount on the way for my belt, and with the mount on the vest if I feel the need I can carry 2 pistols fairly comfortably.

Almost time to put some meat on the table. Just finished up my 300blk SBR, have it zeroed with 205 grain copper solid sub sonic expanding rounds from gorilla ammunition. This will be my doe day gun

Just picked up a 45-70 guide gun. I think the CS MSE will be a nice little friend for it. Kinda like Chester and Spike on the old looney tunes cartoons.

That is the next rifle I want to get. May go check out one tomorrow.

They really are a neat weapon. The massive ammount of bone crushing power housed in such a convenient little rifle is very "confidence inspiring".

The 45-70 is an awesome round. I highly recommend one

Nice! I had high hopes of getting one of those rails and adding a forward mounted scope but the scope I have has too much eye relief and I'm really kinda digging mine the way it is with just the ghost ring sights.

Me too.

But if I had it to do over again, I'd get the Model 1895SBL, rather than the 1895G "Guide Gun.". I added the Big Loop Lever and XS sight base which come standard on the 1895SBL. And while you might not like the Big Loop Lever (although I can't imagine why), you gotta like the two extra shots on the 1895SBL.

I also like the Leupold 2.5x28 Scout Scope.
