Pretty close.

I'm not sure where the line is between big knife/dagger and short sword.

I love my version of this blade. Glad I got micarta handles on mine though. The damascus is stunning though.

No problem, I really like it. If I had to change anything I'd add a lanyard hole for safety when chopping(the guys I chop with get nervous

) and round the edges at the back of the handle a little. It creates a hot spot on my hand when I chop with it.

Yes! But just picked up a couple more so it is going to be a while before I can save up. I really like this blade!

Well, send it back and I'll round it off for you. I had a feeling that might be a hot spot.
I'm afraid it's too late for a lanyard.... Unless someone could cut a hole with a waterjet...

Thanks for the offer, but it's not a huge issue. I was just mentioning things you might improve on for the next one. As it is, it's one of my favorite blades. :thumbup:
