Button locks?

On the William Henry button locks, the button holds the blade closed. When you depress the button, you can flick the blade open and shut. The Axis lock works the same way.
Liner locks and frame locks have a detent ball that holds the blade closed by dropping into a dimple. This ball also adds friction when opening and closing the blade because it drags on the blade. I have a Southard springless flipper (frame lock) that opens very easily, but it takes 2 hands to close it.
Lock backs are actually front locks with a mid or rear release. The tooth at the front of the rocker drags on the tang of the blade causing resistance as the blade travels in either direction.
So if you want a knife that flicks open and shut, you need a button lock or an Axis lock. Lefties might prefer the Axis lock.
