I just picked up a spyderco lionspy from the exchange. That will do me for a while. That is one of the nicest spyderco's ever made IMO.

SnG amazing folder I have 3. Really the 1st mainstream Ti/G10. I have a customized Reese Weiland CQC7 with a Ti framelock side from Waaaaaay before the SnG.

Also have 3 CRK Sebs and a ufamanzaam or wtf it's called.

What's in my pocket most times? A large reg Sebenza a bought used at a gunshow for $250 it was beat up. Sent it in to CRK came back looking new.

SnGs, ARs, GB, are awesome but THE EDC folder is the Seb. I initially thought they were boring and overpriced.

I went through a Microtech phase and Emerson but I feel the Sebenza is a "adult knife" understated and classy yet a total work knife.

That is a really great sheath inspector-callahan! I might pick one of those up for my Sebenza 25 at some point. On the same line of thinking, I got a nice leather sheath made for my Dalibor Draco.

I might get a few of those. I prefer that to pocket clip

Looks like the Boss chimed in on this thread once in 2003, i really wish He'd do it again, and gave us a hint, or just Stirred the pod a bit lol

Doh got fooled by the necro...
My 2 cents on folders for what it is worth...
I have come full circle on folders; I started (adult purchases) when I was scraping change together for the $60 spyderco delica with the cheap nylon handles, and they were great! Since then I have moved up the chain and tried the range of benchmades, Microtechs, Zero Tolerance, William Henrys and most other things in between, and at the end of it all, I have decided that the good old $60 spydercos work as well as any of them. The steel is almost irrelevant because the weakest link is usually the hinge and mechanical components. Some overbuilt folders approach the strength needed for fixed blade applications, but they are so big and clunky that you might as well get a small fixed blade. The titanium handles offer no real functional advantage over lighter nylon in realistic use. If you love the design and collect, then go for it, but my current opinion is that high end folders just jewelry (not to mention the controversial Noss / Reeve review). I admittedly never actually got around to trying a Sebenza so take that into account.

One of my buddies is big on high end folders. Of all the blades he hads the Chavez Redencion is the one I always want to play with. That thing is hell for stout.

Thanks ZMB. I didn't know where to go for a sheath that I had in mind and found Wicek and was concerned that it shipped from overseas with excessive shipping, etc but it was very reasonable and what I received blew me away. It was so nice, looked great and has a good retention, and it matched my knife and we all know how important that is!

That sheath you had made is neat too. I've never seen that type before but it solves the problem of keeping the flap low profile, since it's relieved for the clip. Very cool! And it can never fall out.

The Busse folder as been 2 weeks out for what the past 20 years? Buy you a good folder. The Hinderer XM18 has been taking up most of the time in my pocket.

I don't understand why people think Busse folders are so hard to find. You can get one for under fifty bucks on Alibaba, and they'll even ship it for free.

I actually never carry a knife on me, more than a key chain mini swiss army, unless I'm going somewhere to camp or cook or both. However I got this as a gift. It's pretty much what I would consider a gentleman's folder. Unfortunately I never have any reason to use it. pic quality sucks but it's a nice little blade.

I usually have 3 folders on me, and probably use at least 2 of them every day. Manix2 or PM2 for harder work, a Chaparral or UKPK for office type stuff, and a SAK
