Buying a Delica: Pink, or purple?

A semiotic debate fer sher. On a knife forum? AS IF!!! I thought we were relegated to plain or Damascus and stuff. :eek: :D

I'd get both if I could swing it financially. If you can just get one, get the purple.
 
So far this thread has said pink nine times, purple eight times. Every female I've asked, said purple...They really do hate pink, go figure.
 
Imho...if the pink was pastel, I'd vote purple, but that hot freaking pink is awesome, and the purple is fine, but a bit washed-out looking compared to that pink.

I have a purple one on my waist band right now. If I clip it to my pocket enough hangs out and it's bright enough I feel like everyone is staring at it. The belt covers it in the waist band. Think I'll get another one in brown one of these days.
 
I like the Pink one. Looked that them at Smoky Mt Knife Works a while back and just about bought one. For some reason. I am attracted to the odd colors. I also like the yellow handled Spydies.
 
I like Purple but Pink will be easier to find when I have set it down and forgotten it. An less apt to be nicked by a workmate.
 
I'd go for purple. I honestly just don't like pink as a color an I certainly wouldn't want a color I don't like on MY knife. But hey, if you like the color...go for it.
