Should I be worried about purchasing a automatic knife online? I’d like to purchase a Protech from GPKnives but the laws regarding shipping autos has me worried.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!
Arrested, fined, charged with a felony.Worried in what sense?
They’re legal in my state without any blade length restrictions. No, I've never heard of such a thing. Worst that will happen is that someone will refuse to sell to you because of where you live.
You'll probably have no trouble. If GPK gives you trouble, find another retailer. They’re legal in my state without any blade length restrictions.
So what’s the problem? Reputable retailer shipping to a place where autos are legal. Done deal IMO.They’re legal in my state without any blade length restrictions.
Sometimes I have trouble understanding all the legal mumbo jumbo but if I'm reading that correctly, GPK could legally ship you an automatic knife as long as they don't use USPS to ship it.
The other thing that I'm getting from that is that if the "Interstate" law is broken it's the party who shipped it that broke the law, not the recipient.
