Buying back-ups

Planterz, I can definitely relate to that SBJ thing. I like mine so well, that the thought of it getting messed up or lost keeps me from carrying it much. I have to get a back up for it and I have it picked out, just need to pull the trigger. Oh, the backup is going to be the user and I'll pick up another Chestnut CV as a backup, but not the user (or more likely a gift; everybody should have one of them). - Ed
 
I have variations on a theme

I also have doublers - mainly of Spydercos, Fallknivens, Northwoods and Northfields - but I don't keep any boxfresh
 
My only backup is an Alox Victorinox Soldier. It's such a perfect pocket companion that I don't even want to think about not having access to one.
Additionally, one important thing I've learned from this thread is that... I need a Case Sway Back Jack in cv with chestnut bone!! I've clearly put it off for too long.
 
I lost a 72 victorinox alox soldier and a 79 buck 110 and always said I will buy those knifes again... since then a lot of differents knifes come to me, but some day I will do it.
