Buying my first G-10 Spyderco

Up till now I have only had cheap FRN spydies and Stainless models. Been carrying Spydercos since 1985.

So this is mny first G-10 experience.

I am undecided as to which one of these i should get. So I will let you decide for me.

Military
Para military
Police III
Endura 4

I am leaning towards the Endura FG G-10, but maybe someone could sway me with the newer Police design or the newer lock function of the Para military.

Maybe you can list these 3 in order of preference for me.

For me, it has always been a toss up between the Military and the Para-Military. The solution was that I bought both.
 
I just got a G-10 para and love it.

Got a Delica, green G-10 on the way.

New to spyderco's and i'm hooked.
 
From your choices it seems you like big blades. That rules out the para.
You seem to like have a preference for certain locks so that rules out the liner of the mili.

I would go with the g-10 endura or new police III

Do you like a more pronounced choil for choking up on the blade? Then Police III. If not then the endura
 
Is there a legal limit for blade length where you are? I haven't rushed to buy the Police3 simply because I can't legally carry it here (4" limit). I carry an S90V/CF Military and a Krein flat-ground ZDP Endura more than I carry my Paras.
 
I'd suggest the Military, with the Endura coming close
my Para doesn't see much use...

Ai, not exactly a landslide vote. I think the para is in the lead. But i do like larger blades and a good locking mechanism.

I am still on the fence. E v e n t u a l l y I will get all of them. But for now I have to choose one. As of tonight I am leaning towards the police or military. But the Endura 4 also has some balde length and looks a little like the Police. I know nothing of the lock on the Para.

I live in Jawja. I have a concealed carry permit and mostly spend my money on smaller carry guns.

Okay i picked up a Para today.


But now i still want one of the bigger ones.

It is a compression lock. kind of like a liner lock but instead of closing it on the bottom of the knife you close it on top. (sorry if i confused you), you might want to try watching youtube videos of para-militarys, because a video is worth a million words ;):D

well now that you have a para nvm you probally done figured all this out. :D

OP, Depending on your legalities I'd go for the Para or Military. Out of all my Spydies, those two get the most pocket time. Then again... I do have a G10 Endura on its way. :)
