19 to 10 for the B11. Great pix Jroden. Thanks

So, have you decided yet? That BWM would probably help your daughter out more than the B-11 in terms of what they'll fetch on the secondary market, AND B-11 is in the lead right here, right now. Pray tell, what are your current thoughts now that you've got an informal poll going?

i have both and the B11 is lighter and more comfy...2 reasons to carry and use the B11...the bwm is a great knife but the B11 is the "butter on the toast"

ive owned both and kept the bwm.i like the handle on the bwm much better and the weight is not a big deal.just my 2 cents worth.

The handle on the BWM is absolute perfection. Resiprene C is nice but I much prefer the perfectly sculpted micarta handles on the BWM. Especially for extended periods of chopping. For me the Resiprene handle tends to "walk" forward every 4 or 5 chops but the BWM handle rocks back and forth perfectly, never needing a grip adjustment.

Got my daughter taken care of for a while, but not long enough. Looks like the B11 may win because a few of you are right when you say I can get more for the BWM if I sell it. Just bought a knife because I think--hope--I know someone I can sell it to for quite a bit more than what I paid (Mods:I'm not soliciting for a sale) . Not a final decision, but it looks like B11. I like the larger blade on the B11 and the weight and balance;the only problem I have w/ it is that the handle isn't thick enough for me.Guess I can wrap it w/ some paracord.

Dang, my posts were all in vain :grumpy:. FYI, athletic tape is much easier on the mitts than paracord :).

Safetyman--I really appreciate yours and everyone's input. I haven't been around long, but you guys have been the voice of reason a few times for me and I sure have learned a lot about knives and firearms. Thanks to all. Ron
