They are quite similar in size (Manix/PM2). Both have great ergonomics, though they feel quite different in hand. The Manix 2 LW carries better because it’s thinner and lighter (sorry Lapedog Lapedog , you’re wrong :D). The compression lock as utilized on the PM2 is amazing.

The Delica and Native 5 are also fairly similar in size to one another with diferent ergonomics that are both great. I’m personally bias in favor of the Native 5...but the Delica is great too.

Take a look at the Cara Cara G-10 , it hits the mark on so many levels and really adds something to the design. The extra heft of the liners and G-10 gives it a more solid reliable feel and yet it is cost effective enough to carry and use hard.
Its a phenomenal knife and I would choose it over the Tenacious 10/10 times.

The Manix2 has long been considered internal competition to the PM2. Some seem to prefer the more neutral sort of canoe shapes handle lf the pm2 and others prefer the more purposefully ergonomic handle design of the Manix family. However despite it not looking like it I find the Manix handle quite comfortable in all 4 gripping directions. (Forward grip/reverse grip - edge facing out/edge facing in)

Both knives have strong modern locks that keep the fingers out of the cutting path of the closing blade.

Personally I like the tip strength abit better on the Manix2 family. However the manix2 is quite a tall knife when closed and IMHO the para2 pockets better.

The Endura is a remarkably slim and comfortable knife to carry in pocket. I can’t believe its got that huge 3.75 inch blade when I put it in my pocket. Of the three (endura manix para) the Endura is my favourite to carry and you get a ton of blade. However Endura typically comes with vg10 steel wheras manix and para2 have s30v standard.

I'm leaning heavily towards the Endura. I like that it's Japanese made, and I feel like it's the knife that got away from when I first got into knives, and I chose a CRKT over it. Spyderco just has so many good options and it's hard not to like them all.

Question is, will you be a true gangster and get the Waved Endura?

Waved Endura and Delica to temp you.

Hard to see in pic but handle colour is sort of Denim blue.

Yea, a Tenacious just does not make much sense if you own a PM2 unless something as pricy as a Pm2 is still at that safe queen status for you. And that is perfectly understandable.

Just use and appreciate the nice one you've got. Thinking back, my only knife regrets were having something nice and not using it.

All yourself: "What all I saving it for?" Why did you pay all that money, only to immediately replace it with something interior?

Don't do it man. Spend the money on a good sharpener or tools.

Another Canadian, his YT is Startup Survival, prefers Cara Cara.
His review matches my own, especially being lockback, it’s safer.

Cool I will look up his YT after work.

I understand what your saying. I'm just a bit weird where I seem to like having two of something to alternate between to keep from getting bored. But honestly it also maybe I don't know what I really want.

But I get what you guys are saying. I don't want to take away from the experience of owning my PM2 and carrying it everyday.

I never understood the Byrd line. I mean I know theres people that will buy them. I think they are unattractive and the Original brand has more to offer, even the Tenacious and similar. I will never own a Byrd.

For me the attraction is the price and that its an official product and not a knock off.

Here your avg Walmart knife with unknown steel is at least $20-30 (CDN).And I feel like byrd is a step up from them.

But I agree the comet hole just isn't as aesthetically pleasing to look at.

I hear ya on not a knockoff. Generally I'd prefer to save a little and pay the difference.

I was completely anti FRN, until I wasn't. Spyderco does a fantastic job with it. It has a great texture and is very durable and light.
That's what I've heard from a few people. I love G10 but FRN is something different.

You guys might think I'm a idiot lol. I ended up buying a Para 3....

My local knife store isn't that local. Its an 1 hour drive each way. I get there only to discover that the Endura 4 they have is the lightweight model. So they wont price match with the regular one i saw for $95. They want $127. Well the Para 3 is the last one they have and its on sale for $135. So for $7 more I could buy the last Para 3.

If I find that its too redundant and I'm not using it. I'll give it to my brother for Christmas.

Thanks for the help guys I appreciate all the input.

I was never really crazy about frn or polymer handles either and then I got a griptillian. I was amazed how it felt to use. Very solid. Then I dismissed the "cheap" plastic handles . Then I was offered just an amazing deal on a native 5 lightweight after going through some very hard financial times. I thank them so very much for the genorousity .
The native 5 has forever changed my mind about frn handles. It is just great. It is very lightweight but doesn't feel cheap or anything in my hand. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another spyderco in frn when funds allow. I have a couple that I'm looking at now. Just know spyderco does an amazing job with frn

Finally got home and compared it to my PM2.
Well the negative side of getting a discount because it's the floor model is it needs a little maintenance. When I close the lock feels a little scratchy/grindy where as my PM2 is like silk. And I need to tighten the blade a little. But hey I payed $135 cdn ($102us) and not the $180 ($136) US that other stores want.

On a side note I tried to "Spyder Flick" it open, and like a huge dork I accidentally flung it across the room hitting my ceramic table lol. But didn't even scratch it!!! That just proves how tough these knives are.

I'm also going to pick up a Delica 4 pretty soon. I think the FRN will be a little easier on my dress pants at the office. I'm starting to understand why spyderco has the spyderpacas it's hard not to love them all.

Para3 is an awesome blade, one of my favorites actually. I prefer the feel of it in my hand ergo wise to multiple similar knives. It'll loosen up some.
