Honestly, I wouldn’t have paid $124 for an Endura either.

I hope you enjoy your Para3. While I’ve never thought it much of a looker, I will cede that when in hand, the little guy makes a lot more sense.

Congrats on your new knife!

Para3 is an awesome blade, one of my favorites actually. I prefer the feel of it in my hand ergo wise to multiple similar knives. It'll loosen up some.

Thanks guys! It's weird how it feels much more smaller and handy then it looks, and it also feels lighter. I'm glad I have both and had the opportunity to get one. The manager of the store said they have been having trouble getting knives over the border.

I also checked out the Persistence and Tenacious while I was there, and I have to say I was really impressed by them. The liner locks are great, and fit and finish on them seemed perfect to me. Are those two models made in the same factory as byrd?

I really loved my Tenacious (first spyderco) years ago, i carried and used it, and after a year the liner lock touched the opposite liner, resulting in blade play :(
My favorite is the PM2, did'nt like the Manix, carried to wide and the weight difference.
PM3 is not for me i think, when i carry my Military (belt sheath) for a while and then hold my PM2 again, it feels tiny in hand :p

Yeah that linerlock... I remember squeezing the knife and it affecting the liner lock, like pushing it up a bit and giving it abit of play on the one I had. It doesn't compare to like military liner lock. Have same feelings about military, pm2 btw.
