C.Edmondson cummunication problems

Charlie now has contacted me, and explaned what was wrong with the shipping, post office thing. He is a stand up guy and i feel bad about starting this tread, i should have called him on the phone and sorted it out.

Don't feel bad.
You are willing to accept the risk of international shipping and sounds like all you really wanted was a tracking number, which should have been provided without having to ask. I guess you have one now?
 
I think both handled this well .. SlickPete wanted a little more communication .. I would rather a text or email than a phone call , But sometimes the phone call is what can finally fix the problem . I will also say the times I do talk to my customers it ends up being a very good conversation with a like mined person.
 
I have purchased 2 knives from Charles. The last one he sent tracking and it didnt show it being shipped. I contacted him and he was very responsive. It turned out there was clear tape over the address and the post office let it sit there. Ge got it corrected and I got it today. Great looking knife and great guy to deal with.

I'm in the UK and purchased a knife from Charlie a few years ago, and I'd just like to add that he was incredibly accommodating and communicative.
It took a while for him to answer my initial email, but as Charlie said, his job does sometimes affect his ability to respond quickly.
