A few pics from last weekend.

I always think the "pools of rocks" up there are kind of cool

Looking back toward Dobbin Grade bog. We came up that ridge in the distance(Raven Ridge) to get to Cabin Mt.

Here's some sundew growing in a bog off Big Stonecoal Run

First off, great pics! Looks like a beautiful place to roam.
Second; is this a type of carnivorous plant that I saw in a wildlife show as a child, wherein, the "sundew" is actually a sticky substance that captures insects, then the plant elvelopes the helpless critter?
Or am I thinking of another,,similer looking plant?

You are dead on King Daddy:thumbup: Good memory! They are about the size of a quarter.

Great pics and thanks for sharing. I saw something similiar up in PA in Hickory run state park, but there was just one huge pool of rocks.

It seems that you are like me - I like the feeling of having good rock under my boots.

Nice area.

That looks a cool place bro, those rocks look pretty gnarly eh !!!

The pic of the Sundews is great I was always facinated by carnivorous plants as a kid !!!
