California Cuastom Knife Show this weekend....Starting a new look for our Knives!

I'm reading the posts and while some don't mind the logo and markings, it seems there is a large number of folks that love the simplicity of the unmarked blade. I get it, I too like them naked.

It's not up to us what decisions are made on this or the majority of other makers products.

I hope both marked and unmarked items will be made, adds even more complexity to the mix to keep enthusiasts entertained.

One aspect of the XM which appealed to me was the simplicity of the design, some of the best industrial designs tend to have a fantastic clean and simple aesthetic.

The minimalistic and clean HINDERER cut into the arch of the top frame is classic, matching the frame finish just tops it off.

The clean blade has an even balance rendered by the amazing finishes to what I consider nirvana in folder blades.

I'm not a fan of the new additions, it just does not need it in my opinion, will it prevent me from purchasing a Hinderer? - hell no but if the choice was there, I'd go no-logo every time.

I'd prefer it more subtle, the horse logo etched to the inside of the frame on the scale liner and the blade steel and USA lasered around onto the blade tang so it is covered by the frame but there to see when cleaning / servicing.

Just my 2 cents NZ (about 1.64 cent in US mula)

Edited to add.

The XM is an icon in folder design, it does not need a label.
