California Fires

Definitely a little stressful out here right now. I’m in Los Angeles, Hollywood area, I can see the Hollywood sign from my apartment - it’s not burning, the hill / canyon behind it did though. These fires are popping up all over the place right now. Bone dry, record winds and quite a bit of panic isn’t helping. I have upmost respect fir the amount of Firefighters holding things steady as best they can.. We put celebrities on a pedestal while people who are actually doing the life or death stuff go unseen.. crazy. I know a few people who’ve lost their homes.. horrible. I don’t know what’s worse , the fires or the people’s reaction to the fires.. people are terrified. One thing that’s become clear to me - I wasn’t even close to being as prepared as I thought I was. Appreciate all you guys / gals - thank you for kind comments. I’ll try to get some pictures as these fires don’t seem to be slowing anytime soon.

UF is definitely staying on me. Stay safe wherever you’re at. We got evacuation orders on Tuesday, they allowed us back Wednesday. Bags packed.. ready to roll.

Thank you brother. We just came down to jump on a cruise ship for a much needed getaway. However, the many thousands of folks affected by those fires are in my heart and prayers.

Apparently, at least some of the fires were intentional. Some residents tackled a guy , zip-tied him, and the cops scooped him up. Will be interesting to see if the residents get sued.

They could give the guy 3 million years in prison and make him pay back 3 trillion dollars in restitution. It's not going to help the victims or dissuade a copy cat.

They tend to have a short lifespan. Lots of innocent people affected by the actions of one individual does not go unnoticed.
