Calling All Beckerhead Wannabes

Man, that's a lot of work. Can't I just say how much I love my knew BK-9 and BK-11 knives? :D

I will start my first useful thread in a moment (recommending Citrustrip for stripping the finish easily). I searched around before my knives showed up and saw some people were sanding them and such. This citrustrip peeled it off like nothing after about 16 hours of application.

I'm just waiting until my knives actually show up before I can start making anything useful, threadwise. Looking forward to it, though :)

I've got my sights set on a specific Beckerhead number.

Hmmm I wonder which one? :p

Moose, will it be possible for me to get #556? Or should I just wait until we get there? :D:D

Knives of course. Also, contests. Perhaps you can hold a Becker contest, and I will give you the number when its done?

Not sure. But I didn't want to get into allowing numbers that far out, as people would want to do it all the time. But, with a name like 556, some special considerations might be made, if someone really showed some special interest in the Beckerheads. Hmmmmm? Perhaps

I'm not terribly social however I definitely love BK&T and would love to be a Beckerhead vs. a Beckerhead poser/wannabe. BTW: This is my first post on bladeforums.

Congrats on your first post here in the Becker forum, Arkanian. Hope you stick around, great group here, and post some pics of your becker's etc...

Beckerhead #76

Well I thought I was a Beckerhead, after lusting for a Becker for a couple of years and just could not afford to buy one till the KA-Bar version came out.

Proud owner of a BK-7 since 2009.

Welcome guys, truly welcome. I'm glad you're here. Please, stick around and hang out with us, we have much to learn and much to teach, and community around some of the best knives around, is what we are about.

Moosez45,

Thanks for the welcome.

I really don't post much to forums but I do read and try and learn as much as possible.

I hope to own a few more Becker's in the future, family and other obligations make discretionary funds tight.

But I can always dream.

Dream and You Shall Soar.

You near Corpus Christi? Texas gulf coast, only time I ever heard that was when I was living in CC. I spent some time around there, in another life. Great place, TGC.

DFW, College Station, Granbury, CC, Houston, Austin, and El Paso. I been around Tx a little myself. If I didn't live in God's backyard here in East Tenn, it would be in Tx for sure.
