Just an update. The knife arrived yesterday and it's in great shape. I want to thank all of the volunteers for testing the knife and giving great reviews and feedback! I have already started on the second version of this knife and it will be coming out soon. As for this one, I plan to have a give away and give it to someone, but I will start a new thread for that.

Thanks again for that opportunity Adam, you make a really great and unique knife. The fact that you were so willing to put your work out there for critique shows you care about your customers needs over your own ego.

Sorry for the lack of posts this past week.....right after I got the knife I threw by back out and have only been up an about since Saturday:-(

The knife does indeed have a large patch of corrosion forming on both sides, likely from not being wiped after cutting acidic foods. It didn't impede performance....it cuts quite well!! I'll have a review and pics posted within the next day or two. I PM'd the OP to find out who is next on the list. I can do some cleaning up of the blade if needed....but want to get the maker's OK before I do anything. It highlights the need to know your steel, and take a few moments to care for the blade when cutting various foods.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give a little update. I have been swamped getting things ready for Christmas, but things have settled out pretty good so I am going to start a new thread, maybe tomorrow, doing a give away for this knife. Hopefully everyone will get in on it. My birthday is the 27th, so that will probably be the end date. Just a heads up
