If it helps, here are the 3 and 3.5 with a PM2

Cheers,

You need a CRUWEAR Mili to go with those! I am really jealous of the 20CP and 3.5 SB.

Love the caly 3.5 in Zdp-189 the outer steel scratches pretty easy but It's no biggie to me as I use it the knife is IMO the best slicer I've owned from Spyderco , I love it...

My cruwear is just a little camera shy, that's all. Haven't mustered up the courage to try it yet...so much knife.

Try it out. It works. Trust me. It's big but carries nicely and is great I'm use. At least do a gray G10 family pic.

The Caly 3.5 is most def a winner. I had a Delica. Then upgraded to a Caly 3. Then sold both and upgraded to 3.5s. Now I have the CF, G10 and SB models. Love them.

Just got a hold of a Caly 3.5. And love this nice. The size is perfect. Everything about this blade is just amazing. It flat refuses to leave my pocket though. But who's complaining? :)

Hey, nccole - that's a great family photo! Can you give some info on those pocket clips?

Those are "feathetlight" (sometimes aka featherweight) Ti clips from a member here- theoriginalspaceman. They retain 3 screw attachment unlike the other deep-carry Ti options.

Its a little known fact that the Caly 3.5 is the only folder in the Spyderco lineup with a blade that's longer than its scales.

Okay, not really. But it sure seems like it.

The caly 3.5 puts a smile on my face daily. If you like the delica I can't see a reason why you would not like the caly. It's a great knife. It's hard not to carry it all the time.

Does both Caly's blades drop down easy one handed like the delica's?

Just like any lockback, it depends on how loose you adjust the pivot pin. If its adjusted tight, you just flick it down with your finger in the choil, easy one handed closing IMHO. Love the Caly 3.5, but bummed mine came with a nick on the blade and two toned buffing on the blade, so its getting returned. The knife design is so perfect though, I'm gonna keep trying until I get a good one.

Thanks for that! I think it's REALLY easy to overlook the Caly 3.5 as an oversized Delica or a mini Endura in G10 in light of all the nice Spyderco offerings out there. The funny thing is, the Spydies with Delica shaped handles are pretty much perfect to me. So I think the Caly might just be the next in line for ordering! I just gave away a Delica and now am without a Spyderco.

Another funny thing is I like Benchmades just as much and I think the ones that I have are better than the Delica, yet the Delica was what I reached for more. I gave away the Delica as an experiment to see if I would enjoy the minigrip or mini Presidio as much if I didn't have a Spyderco available. I still do enjoy them, but now I'm certain that I just have to have a solid Benchmade and Spyderco around rather than one or the other.

I just ordered my Christmas present caly 3.5 vg 10. This thread convinced me, I know I'll love it.
Thanks everybody.
