I was the high bidder for a while there. There's just too much cosmetically wrong with it for it to be worth it to me. My thought was if I got it for my highest price, I could clean it up nice and make it a safe queen, but since I wont use it its not worth the extra cash
 
Good luck!!! I think I'm done for a while... after I get the BK5... lol. Then I will have the complete current lineup with some VIPs
 
I need to get a 5, and I'm thinking about a 3, but I don't know if I really "need" a 3 ;)
 
Speaking of contests the july doesn't have many takers. Wonder if the majority is waiting til the last weekend
 
they still sell the 5 and 3 don't they? i'll be pissed if they don't; well pissed at me cause I didn't get one earlier.

No but I'm doubting you get outbid at $400. I have the KA bar version for $200 and I like it just fine.

I have a question that I've been meaning to ask for awhile now,with the price of a BK77 at where it is now,how would a Rob Simonich Combat Raven rate in performance.

A little Comparison
-They're in the same price range
-both 7" S30V blades,
-the Bk77 is .188 and the CR is .200 thick,
-Becker come with micarta handles,the CR is G-10
-Becker comes with a nylon sheath with liner,CR-comes with a Blackhawk sheath
-BK77 comes in satin,CR come standard in satin but different DLC finishes are available

Yeh for over $80! Without handles or sheath! Wonder if they even saw the pics of the paint chipping and rust on the blade. Whatever to each his own I guess

Kabar BK77 is not satin and Camillus BK77 is stonewashed, just FYI:
 
Yeah, $84 seems like a lot but it kinda spoke to me so I went after it, I went after it till it became more than a new factory ka bar and then let it go. I gifted my 7 so i'm wanting to pick up a new one at some point.

I gift away stock knives pretty easily so this one would've been a little easier not to give away.
