My blunt tip Cam 11 are getting there Some mighty tough stuff

Anyone else finding this Steel on the tough side ?

1 hour on my wicked edge with 100 grit diamond and a few minutes on 200, 400, 600 and it’s still not perfect, but dang close.
And yes its tough to sharpen.

Haven't messed with mine yet, but hopefully this means they hold an edge well. Definitely gonna need some updates after use

Ive been edcing mine and it holds an edge very nicely.
I haven’t had to touch it up at all. Its only been a couple weeks but its doing good.

A wicked edge is a fairly expensive sharpening jig but it can do a very precise job once you learn how it works. Overall I like it, but there are other nice ones out there.
I believe mine is the 100, it was the most basic when I bought it a few years ago.

After giving away three of my Cam Neckers, I was left with four more that I just finished. Dyed the micarta tonight, gave them stainless, and gave them azwelke kydex pants...

Used the synthetic Rit after sanding the micarta to 600 grit. Time consuming with 4 sets but I like it.

Handles look great Geof! I'm a big fan of dying handles myself. I haven't dyed any of my Becker handles yet though.
