Tell him he did an Excellent Job ! Great choice in color and a nice strip jobJust wanted to show my grandsons final decision on his necker, he has done all the work himself. I had him use a citrus based stripper, it took longer than what he wanted to take but he is happy with the results. He has decided to let the blade patina on it’s own. He handled a BK11 that had micarta slabs and he thought it was too big for him for now so he chose to paracord wrap it instead. He picked the color and watched YouTube as a guide and made it his own. He couldn’t be prouder.

Very niceAfter tweaking my gifted Cammie, I liked it So much, I bought one to really go crazy will the mods....
You can see the index finger groove I opened up. It feels comfortable now. I also sharpened the blade, removed the grind marks around the perimeter, and filed the scales down so there isn't a gap to the tang. I think the mods were subtle, and the knife still holds true to it's original looks.
