Camillus! Definitely under-rated!

You have an impressive collection, 300 Bucks!!
Have you capped your knife collection at 300, or have you left that number in the dust??:D

Nice bunch, Todd A!!
The jigged bone they used in that time period (the scout of course) is classy stuff!!

WN,

I still have miles to go. I am not changing my name to +300Bucks......storage and display is a sensitive domestic issue..... ~(:-)
300

Here are some Camillus knives, made about 2005, I believe. They were passed off by Taylor as Schrades from Walden . They still trickle onto the bay. They are quite good quality with lovely bone. My scan is bad, but they have the "Everlastingly Sharp" etch of yesteryear.

Weren't those knives, without handle rivets, made by someone else in the U.S.A?
Bear & Sons, or a name like that??

You may be right about Bear. I just blithely repeated what I had heard. They are quite nice, however, in any case.

Nice pair of whittlers Barry. The long pull and rectangular shield must indicate an older knife! More work in that first one.
It is interesting to see how styles changed, if that is true.

I've been following this thread with interest. i'm away from my collection for awhile but would love to post. i have all the Bullet series, lots of Sears/Craftsmen, some Western and Bucks, and Crosman, all made by Camillus, as well as ~200 Camillus stamped knives.
the "Woodcraft" series (882-887) come to mind as particulary well made.
i'll add a few here when i get can back up my long and currently snow and ice buried driveway.
