Have always wanted one, and came across a deal I couldn't refuse. Sorry for the crappy indoor photos, it's raining out.

I kind of like the old sheath:

I've always liked the looks of the older model BK2's, without the extended pommel.

Thanks man. The photos you posted of yours didn't help me any, haha. Good looking knife you have there. Like I said, this one will get a mild mod, coming soon.

I gots love for the Cam 2...I was just waiting for the glamour shots. And the "After" shots, too.
(I don't have a second generation Kabar - I was thinking about grabbing one to modify; but decided to spend the money on other things)
I do like the older style Camillus sheaths...my Cam 2 must have been an early one, as it came with Blackjack leather.

Thanks man. Basic stuff, leather sheath, wood scales, strip it, etc. Was thinking of choiling it, but probably won't. Not crazy about the sharpening choil placement on it.

Man, these pics seem like a lifetime ago...
The 2 is the only one (aside from the 13) that hasn't changed from the day I stripped it. I still have plans for it though....solit tang means I can slim down the grip for my not overly large hands. I love the knife, but using it for any length of time cramps up my hand. It's not as thick as the current version, but the grips are - and I'd rather go full custom than try and work around the thinner KB scales. Soon.....

Looks totally different under the coating than any of my others. And it's the only Becker I have that doesn't seem to develop rust.

all this time and i don't think i've seen anyone plate a stripped knife here...

copper? nickel? chrome? mmm...
 
Bloody nice score warrior.. Is that version slightly bigger than the current model?
 
Nice score man. I recently picked one up to. I like the thinner variation. The sheath that came with mine is crap though. I love the 2 and like having a different version. Congrats on yours
 
Nice grab! I've never had any luck with auctions, but I've never tried that hard. Getting the exact item you want for a low price must feel great.

I do like the extended pummel on my Kabar bk2, but that solid tang is nice.

I lucked out at $75, I feel. I like the looks of the extended pommel, but for chopping, it gets in the way. At least for me it does.
